Now we have at last a good connection with the
internet we will resume our blogg!
Our passage to Valencia for our lift out was pretty
rough with the usual large swells ,we managed to sail for around 4hrs and
then the wind came around to our stern and we had to motor sail the rest of the
way.Our passage was made enjotyable with the escort of a school of dolphin who
followed us out from the southcoast of Ibiza,it
always is a truely wonderous sight.
On arrival in Valencia we were told that we would
have to anchor out until the morning as the lift only operated from
9-2pm!!!
We spent a rather uncomfortable night on a bucking
bronco as we had no protection at all and a very long fetch.
Fisrt thing in the morning a rib came out to help
us manoevour into the lift out pool.
Valencia water is not as clear as the Balearics
waters and loads of jelly fish visible.
It was great to get into the sanctuary of the
harbour but it looks as if we have a major job regarding the
saildrive.
