Mon 3 May 2021 17:52
Addendum for yesterday. Peaches not
Apricots.
Position 19.22.992N 59.59.610W
Early evening we got an extra couple of knots of breeze
and that gave the extra power to do 6 knots through the water. The extra breeze
has stayed so back on routing timetable.
This morning at 1000 we tacked, which is the none
favoured tack as has some south in it doing approximately 130 COG. We are doing
this to stay south of the big band of no wind across the Atlantic. We may tack
back this evening as seeing DTG not decreasing very much bad on the mind. Done
130nm last 24 hours with 2100 to go if we could do the rhum line, which will not
happen this direction.
Sweltering down here in the cabin during the day and
immpossible to sleep, very pleasant on deck.
Solar panel working well, just now saw it giving out
418W.
Dinner this evening baked beans with large Lincilnshire
sausagea, fresh roll followed by pears in juice.
