Today went for a 20 mile cycle on a small fold-up bike.
I am knackered all this sitting around sailing does nothing for your fitness,
better go out more often. The reason initially was to go around to Budget Marine
located in Prickly Bay to see if they could get spares for the pedestal. They
have emailed their head office to see if they are still a distributor for Edson,
one chap said a few years ago they were. Again have to wait for an email, I
better learn to be patient.
The track from the yard was is in a bad way and when I
got to the road there is a 3/4 mile climb obviously a little bit of
downhill but the small wheels have not felt that comfortable at speed and
lots of potholes ad cracks in the road to avoid. After visiting the chandlery
went out to the airport then to St George's, hills everywhere. Got back after a
couple hours. During this time John went for a potter to the other side of
the bay, nothing much found except a small grocery store.
Tomorrow may cycle the other way to see what is
there.
