Another lazy warm day here in the Caribbean. Have taken
down our Christmas decoration though.
Have been trying to get charts of the Caribbean for
the plotter without success. We can get a C-Map one through the local chandlery
but will take another 3 weeks to arrive unless I get it sent then incur freight
forwarder fees of 80US$. The is a way to get them downloaded through the www.gofreestore.com portal. All registered
here and almost there then credit card not accepted, 2 of them. Now think this
could be one of 2 things:
a) does
not like my card being used on web in Saint Lucia when card registered in the
UK
b) some
sort of controls government has as bypassing paying local taxes so gets
block.

assistance or if real reason known would be great to know. Email me "gbr9029 at

We notice the World ARC starts from here Saturday as ARC
office open again, only a handful of boats competing
though.
