Friday 20th August

Dover - day 5. Spent the day relaxing and did a bit of food shopping to see us through the last few days of our trip. Early supper and early bed as we are getting up to leave Dover at 2.30 in the morning.

Saturday 21st August

Left Granville dock at 2.15 this morning. Motored out of the Dover harbour west entrance and headed for Eastbourne. Caught the tide around Dungeness and made good time. No wind, so motored the whole way. Arrived at Eastbourne in time for the 9.30am lock into the Sovereign Harbour marina. Berthed at 9.50am. 

We went for a stroll around the marina this evening before dinner. There are many bars and restaurants along the marina front.
