Beaumaris to Conwy
Weighed anchor at 1100. Force 2 from SW not enough to sail against the tide. We could have cut across the sands but chose to go round Puffin Island in the hope of seeing puffins. None evident, although many guillemots, cormorants, gulls and terns. Arrived at Conwy channel dead on time 2 hrs before high water and went into Conwy marina. As a sister marina to our own at Haslar we get free berthing, which is handy as the winds are not forecast to favourable across the Irish sea until Saturday.
Chance to chill for a few days and visit the local landmarks. Finally made it to a pub!
