Yealm Mooring
We Made it, Yippee.
A very pleasant last day. Favourable winds,
could have been a little warmer, but we were reaching along at 6+ knots and
everything was comfortable. It was great to see Old Blighty again and sail
past familiar landmarks (The Lizard, Falmouth, Looe, The Eddystone, Plymouth,
the Mewstone).
It always takes longer than anticipated, but we
arrived at the mooring in the Yealm at 04.00h and it was just getting
light. Fantastic place to come back to - peace - we've
stopped!
We had a coffee with a suitable livener,
Cheers! Robin had a shower at 05.00h (was he trying to tell us something?)
and I watched the sun come up over the Yealm - Pure Magic.
Well, that's that little jaunt over with, what
next? (Nothing for a few days please).
