Graciosa

Wow, what a crossing. Reaching for a change, but the winds were up to 30kn and we were well reefed in large swells, it was dark (black as a cow's guts) and we had seawater coming at us horizontally on a regular basis and rain coming vertically - unheard of! This was the first time that I had had thought - Why am I doing this? Uncomfortable, but we made 140 NM in just over 24h. Landfall and a marina berth on the Island of Graciosa (small one North of Lanzarote) were very welcome sights.
