The Mistral wind having finally abated allowed us to sail gentle East to the Island of Pourqerolle.

After anchoring off in one of the nice bays for lunch, we took the tender in to the beach and had a swim. I would like to say nice swim but two days of Mistral has cooled the sea down to 21 degrees and I guess it will take a few days of hot sun to raise that again.

As evening approached we went round the corner into the marina to be followed in by a 37 metre Sunseeker 'Snapper'. Kathryn was dying to know if some one famous was aboard. Some minutes later a guy cam passed our boat to chat with one of our neighbours - It was Eddie Jordan of Formula 1 fame. A little later a sleek 13 metre yacht designed for racing moored next to us. Turned out that this belonged to Eddie too - I guess his little toy to sail around in.
