Having got a few bits of shopping in Nice we set of for the Islands off Cannes. As only a few hours away we thought it would be nice to anchor off and enjoy an afternoon of swimming etc. - NIce had been very hot yesterday!

 

Again we had little wind and calm seas for the short trip.

 

Being a weekend and the beginning of the main holiday period there were hundreds of boats anchored enjoying the sun and now warm sea.

 

Luckily a lot of the boats disappeared early evening, so Sealion could swing happily all night without fear of bumping into a neighbour. Indeed we had a peaceful night. However the wind picked up a little early this morning and whilst having breakfast a nearby motor boat started dragging his anchor and duly drifted onto our bow. I duly called the boats name and quickly a couple arrived on deck, in their pyjamas and nightie, panicing trying to fend themselves off, start their engine etc. - what a laugh.
