Again we set off in nearly no wind, dispite some strong winds ealrly in the morning. The sea was anything but calm. A swell from the NE got bigger as the morning progressed until the final hour along 6 miles of harbour wall surrounding Barcelona the boat rolled quite significantly - The swell was bouncing off the walls and making it even more confused.

Just as we entered the harbour entrance for Port Vell the engine sudenly hesitated as though running out of fuel - it soon became apparent that the problem was the propellor - something had clearly got caught on it (dispite the rope cutter). The net result was that we appeared to have no forward thrust but could reverse very slowly - any more than tick over and we got serious vibration. So we slowly went backwards the next half mile or so into the marina. The marina were a great, sending us a small boat to help us manouvre into our berth,

The marina gave me the phonre number of a dive company who promptly suggested a fee of 2600 euros - needless to say I declined and have now found a locally/unofficial guy who hopefully will go down tonight for 50 euros and see what the problem is.
