After a wild night in Salcombe, we left in poor visiabilty only to be greeted by blue skies and a light easterly out at sea. Up went the spinnaker after a little training for us all on how to rig it.

A gentle sail took us to Burgh Island - so we drooped the hook for some lunch - dressed in shorts by now. Chris K and I took the tender in for ice creams only to run out of petrol half way back to the boat.

The wind shifted a little SE so we broad reached to Plymouth in the gentle winds and continued Sun.

The story last night was, as in Salcombe, vicious winds with the boat bouncing around in th marina.

Today (Monday) the wind and rain is coming and going so thoughts of sailing to the Yealm when Chris H & Paul leave are probably out.
