We set of early from Procida in very gentle winds resulting in little sailing today - mainly motor sailing. At 13.45 we arrived at Ventotene some 30 miles from the mainland.

It appears Ventotene has a lot of Roman history with Nero sending his wife here in exile so he could continue with his Mistress etc.. Whilst there is a more modern harbour a little harbour still exists that was made by the Romans by literally cutting it out of the rocks- Luckily we can just fit into this harbour so in we went. The entrance between the rocks was tiny. But what a lovely/pretty place.
