I haven't disappeared.

 

Rick & Phil left the boat early Wednesday morning to catch a taxi and train to Pisa airport and back via Ryan air to Bournemouth. Whilst their plane was an hour late - apparently due to the heavy winds we have been having in this area - happily they got home safely.

 

Alison is arriving tomorrow by plane from Bournemouth to Pisa and then we are off South on Sunday/Monday towards Rome etc.

 

In the meantime I have been doing a few minor repairs and the domestic chores - like washing and ironing. Uggh!! It actually took me nearly a day going in and out of town, on my Bic, to get an Italian SIM card for my 'dongle' so we can have WIFI. Now days it appears you need passports and proof of address etc. to get a SIM card but no one checks anything as we wander with the boat from one country to the next - Why??

 

The marina has nice views to Elbe and other Islands off Italy and when clear to the high mountains of Corsica, some fifty miles to the east.

 

More once we are on the road again.
