We spent a day with
some friends in Ste Maxime, visiting the village of Grimaud with them. On
returning to our boat Wednesday evening we found the yacht Undina moored next to
us - You may remember that Griff Rhys-Jones did a television program sailing on
his boat - Undina was the boat in the TV program and still belongs to him.
Unfortunately all were asleep on Undina when we returned to the boat and when we
left at 9.00am, so we didn't get to say hello.
On the 1st we left
Ste Maxime and sailed most of the way to the Islands of Hyeres under
cruising chute. We have spent yesterday/last night/today anchored firstly
off Port Cros & the in a bay off the Island of Porquerolles. The weather has
been hot and the water is now warm at 24.5 degrees so we have been regularly
swimming off the boat to cool down.
