Having moved on from St Cyprien to Gruissan in light winds, most of which was under motor we found another port based on mainly new buildings/flats heaving with holiday makers. Having said that Gruissan had a small old town on the hill which was nice to visit. We are also beginning to find that the cost of Marinas in SW France is far less than Spain. At 34 Euros a night it is half what we had to pay on the Costa Brava.

We stayed an extra day so we could meet up with Sue & Mike from Lollipop - one of last year's Rally Portugual group, who live in the area and now have their boat here. Amazing how paths cross - we know from VHF radio we were within a few miles of them in Mallorca at the end of June & now we are both in France.
