We set off leisurely from Valancia to head north, the first few hours were under motor but as the wind swung to the east up went the sails and the rest of the day was spent in 10/12 knot winds providing a pleasant sail at 5 to 6 knots. So pleasant was the sailing we didn't pull in for the night until about 6.00pm some 42 miles up the coast at a small marina in Oropesa de Mar. We were virtually the only foreigner in the Marina and our improving Spanish was much needed.

A pleasant marina and night.
