Still on Beyzano in Rodney Bay.

Yesterday we were on the ARC finish line for 24 hours. It started off slightly windy with 20 knots , but calmed down as forecast in the afternoon.

There are not many boats arriving now, so we had time for sleeping and dozing between them. I spent most of the night in the cockpit, with a warm wind blowing over me and masses of stars.

Here’s Beyzano looking very pretty in the morning light with the orange ARC banners on the front.

Then after we handed over to Nyda it was the annual ARC fancy dress party, theme of togas! Almost everyone had made an effort, with lots of children running around in the sand with very creative costumes.

Unusually for an ARC party we had to pay for food, which was pretty average, and only one very unrummy rum punch free. But it was a lovely location on the beach and we met a few friends.

Here’s me looking silly as usual with Rob and Rhian.
