All is well.

 

The weather is very pleasant, but we could do with a little more wind, at present we have been motor sailing for 23 hours, and it looks like we may do so for some time to come yet. Jayne did a fantastic curry last night, then Larry and I did the night watches of 4 hours each. its now pretty hot, with no waves or swell to speak of. we had “The Naughty Sail” up for 5 hours, but even that is now no help as we have 2 kts of apparent wind. We’ve been monitoring the fuel consumption (we just have one engine running at 2,400 revs, making 5 kts), and should easily have enough to motor the whole way if we have to.
