Course 200 T, towards Lanzarote.

All well. We have had a fantastic first 24 hours sailing the whole way, and covered 152 nm. wind was almost perfect, from behind the right lug’ole at 15 to 20 knots.

Fishing line has been successfully used (ish), we caught a large white thing, but unfortunately it flew away....

We reefed down for the night, and had a midnight encounter with a friendly seismic survey vessel which involved going off course for an hour or two.

Latitude Larry has been using his sextant, and we confidently expect similar results to the fishing...

Its now sunny and very warm, but the wind has dropped and come round onto the nose, so slower progress but its good fun.
