We are here in Nelsons Dockyard, enjoying the sunshine, heat, and watching preparations for tonight’s celebrations. The band have been “warming up” all morning, and as their stage is 50ft from Salila its just a little loud.

We just walked up to the point to watch the end of todays race, which we think was won by our celebrity neighbour.

Tonight we have a party of 14 ARC friends and others joining us at the restaurant on the other side of the bay, where there is another band on a barge, and a good view of the fireworks.
