Yesterday we clocked up over 1,000 nautical miles on the log. That measures distance through the water, and I suspect it is over-reading a little, but its a real achievement. Seven days at sea and we’re still talking to each other! Only about 1,700 to go. The trouble is that if our average speed drops by only half a knot that puts about a day and a half on our journey time.
 
Two more dorado were caught, one on Pete’s line, and we have photos of the epic battle.
 
Its now very warm, no need for socks even at 3am. The sea is 29 degrees, but we are not planning to stop for a swim. Hundreds of flying fish, although none have landed on the boat yet. Beats driving on the M4 in the fog to work.
