We have just sailed a few miles up the coast as much as anything else because we could!  We passed such exciting venues such as Benidorm and Albufuera on the way but hope to have this couple of days here in Moraira until the wind, as forecast shifts to the East and drops so that we can then make our way to Gibraltar.

Minor dramas this morning as we left Torrevieja - the aft main halyard (the rope that pulls up the mainsail) jammed at the top of the mast ! We had to wind Mike Gilburt to the top in a bosun’s chair to release it. Weather is much calmer and we had a good dollop of sunshine today.

We are still hoping to begin our passage to Gibraltar on Monday afternoon/ Tuesday morning.
