15/08/2012 We’ve being fixing the
things that weren't sorted yesterday, namely the driving platform U bolt and we
have also purchased some back up water containers, just in case. At present we
are all working to help the Raymarine fitter to enable us to get the autopilot
fitted today. At present he /we have
being going at it since 1030 and progress is is good however with the best will
in the world we will not be finished until after the cut off time of the Customs
guy who we will busy after 1400, so with that in mind I pretty sure the
installation will be completed today and we be able to get going first thing in
the morning. Just to fill in a few
things that apparently i missed in the blog yesterday, the Navy weren't the only
witnesses to our erratic course, I failed to mention the 2 Whales and the pod of
Dolphins that were all interested in our progress, the dolphins are always a
welcome sight and the whales but at a
distance!! We are going to get some more
Diesel as it appears that the tank isn’t as big as expected or the fuel
consumption is drastically worse than
anticipated. Either or it better to be safe than
sorry.
Apart from the above everyone
is in good spirits and cant wait to leave tomorrow, all the time spent so far
has made some good refinements to Hind
Sight. Anyhow I’ve got to go and will catch up
