We are now approaching the Torres Strait, it lies about 140nms to the east
we should be there sometime tomorrow afternoon, after that it will be all
south on the last stretch!!, I think everyone onboard is looking forward to
hitting dry land and stopping there longer than a couple of days. The trip
so far towards the Torres Strait has not been the most comfortable, however
it could have been worse. It would of been nice to get some sailing in but
to be honest the wind has rarely allowed us to get the jib out never mind
the mail sail, maybe when we turn the corner and head south we may fair
better ... but looking at the weather forecast I doubt it..same old shit
different Sea!

Any way I'll give an update in 2 days time, at which pint we should be
getting closer to Cairns where we will have to refuel.

Cheers
Mark
