Well how things change in a week…or not!

Since my last blog I have removed the exhaust manifold to determine whether or not it leaks.. Yep.

The whole travel situation has gotten a lot busier, now we have the original Patrol boat we are hoping to get a tow from, there is a flight coming in to drop off some patience’s and to medevac one person back to NZ (that’s Tuesday this week) the NZ Navy is on its way to bring a desalinating unit for producing fresh water from sea water, the original delivery ship is due early November and there are rumours that there is a ship on its way from Hawaii as well!!

If it carries on like that it will be standing room only here..lol

So at the moment we are waiting for the head master to turn up and let us use his phone again. Tyronne has been very good to us letting us make call and connect to the outside world via internet. So hopefully we can secure a tow get back to Aitutaki and I can head back home for a while before the next Job,

I’ll put a little more feedback on the situation after all the phone calls.
