Last night we ran out of wind and had to run one off the engines for 12
hours, the boat is coming together well considering the work that had to be
done, all but one of the fans has been fitted, essential given the temps we
are working in (45C), @ 1230 today we had a little breeze come in and we
took the reef out of the main sail and hoisted the Gennaker, at present we
are doing 8.3 knots in 19.1 knots of true wind we are all very pleased with
that. the water and battery situation is very good as I expect to hit Aden
in 4 days straight from the time of the above position so that will be nice
arriving in daylight, there we will stock up on a few essentials, like water
fresh food, fruit and a little diesel. Aden is also an opertunity to meet a
couple of other yachts that are intending to travel past Somalia and
Suquatra. The big problem working in these temps is keeping hydrated and
cool as you can see from the photo's we are doing our best in such hard
conditions.

On a personal note GSN, please ring me on the Sat phone and Hi Terri.
