Well having had great expectations for the weather, the wind finally
returned after about 19 hours of motoring.

We have past Cape Reinga, and are now heading west for Sydney! Well nearly
the wind isn't quite where I would like it to be but I am hoping that the
forecast is correct and it will swing either a little more to the south or
alot more to the north either way works, but it just needs to happen!!

The clue ring just broke out of the jib top so we have jury rigged some rope
to do the job, hopfully this will last us out until we can put up some sort
of downwind sail.

Apart from the that and the fact that the Raytheon gps won't talk to my
laptop everything is going well and we are making good progress, however
that doesn't mean i'm prepared to give an ETA to Sydney just yet we will
need a couple more days before the mast to be able to make a accurate guess.

Good sailing to all

Mark
