Position time 1800NZT Well today has been much the same as the last
couple of days we are moving along as fast as we can do and can't wait to hit
Port
vila, well at least I am, i'm hoping to be there by
1615 their time which will be 1715 NZ time. That way we will be able to check in
and get off the yacht for a meal and something to eat and also attend to
our most urgent needs in my case a couple of packets of
cigerettes!!
I ran out a couple of days back. Bad news really
i wont let it happen again!!!
If we can manage to make it to check in in Port
Vila before the boys go home for the day at 1630,
that will help us alot we are low on both water and diesel so it would be nice
to get off and have a nice (not moving) shower, the last couple of days
have been very good and everybodies demeanors have changed with the easier
sailing, I cant blame them either, for Claire and Tom it was their first ever
sailing trip and for Fred it was his first Blue Water trip in the southern
hemispere. So all in i'm sure they probably won't look back at this trip with
fond memories given the bad weather we had at the start of the trip. But thats
sailing!!
Any way I'll post a final report tomorrow just
to let you all know I'm on dry land and then after my diving course I'll be back
to Auckland for another delivery.
