Position time 1800NZT
After leaving yesterday there wasn't alot of wind,
so we motor sailed for most of the night only turning it off at about 2330,
the next eight hours were abit frutrating as the wind would give us a good run
for a couple of hours and then would drop and slowly return, which meant that we
couldn't make a firm decision on whether or not to start the engine up again
especially as there were crew asleep. so at 0630 this morning we started the
engine again and haven't turned it off yet there are the occasional spurts of
wind but nothing near good enough to stop the motor.
As you can imagine our proress is slow and at this
rate we won't be into Efate until Tuesday maybe Wednesday..time will
tell!
But everyone on board is happy and the weather is
getting warmer the further north we go unlike back in Auckland
hehe.
