We are leaving in the morning for the Galapogos Islands and hopefully a

bit cooler weather!, even the dogs here ae sweating and everytime you try

and get some thing done it seems to take a week!! The boat is ready to

leave and I think i speak for everyone that we will pleased to get out of

Panama with some monies left. Having transited the Suez a number of times

I am of the opinion that they have imported the staff to run the

Canal.However I would say that the transit of the canal is very

interesting even more so when you consider that the build was completed in

1913 and has stood the test of time. All the locks are worked on gravity

so given the size it is even more impressive.The only thing that spoils

the whole thing is the cost of things and the attitude of the people there

to the visitors.Anyhow I've got to go now but will place another blogg

whilst we are under way.
