We had a great restart to the delivery the autopilot was working well and we were in lighter airs so motor sailing at low revs and travelling at good speeds 6 to 7 knots, although Hind Sight is a reasonable tender yacht she goes along relatively well with very little sail up. The new autopilot uses a lot of amps but the motor hasn’t even shown any signs of getting even the slightest bit warm which is a good news!
The Customs guy at Marsden Cove Marina, Bruce Cooper was a very friendly guy and helped us as much as he could and things went very easily thanks Bruce!

By the way Chris, the Fridge works very well, in fact we had to turn it down as it was freezing everything!! we will try and get as much as possible working by the time we get into Port Vila.
Well last night my 2000 to 2400 watch was going great lovely stars in the sky,  just about on the rumb line and very warm considering and then about 2310 a whole herd of those big cheeky black clouds came across, took me off course for 30 mins, dropped the temp by 7 degrees and messed up the flat seas! bloody typical of the tropical north!!! In the end i went inside to warm my hands on the chart table light which fortunately enough was quite warm.

I've got a list of things to do today including finding out why the spreader lights come on when the mast head, tricolour light switches are turn on, in fact the only switch they don’t come on with is the lower navigation lights, no drama though its more or less legal and on coming vessels will know what we are and in which direction we are travelling! others include fixing the new search light to the bulk head by the companion way and moving the fan that is now wedged along side the SSB, apart from that just a quite day at the office, well not quite We have a better view and weather!!! sunny and hotter!!

Mr Ross, I’ll factor out the down time on the delivery and let you know our sailing time so we can see who got it right..... mind you I’m not against cheating when there is a free glass of wine involved In love!

Will see what I can get done today and let you guys know, I’ve already torn apart the serial to Sat phone cable so if you are reading this it worked!
