Well it was a pretty uneventful evenings sailing wind strength was up and down never enough to push the yacht along without using the motor to assist, but we are making reasonable progress and the sunrise this morning was a sight to be seen and the temperature is mild given the time of the year. Last night only drama was Bruce involuntarily feeding the fish at 0300 this morning which he made a couple of encores just to prove he hadnât got a weak stomach. Man, he can hurl for Africa!
 
At our current pace we are looking to be at the top of the North Island by 0200 tomorrow morning and then itâs the long haul to the Eastern seaboard of Australia.
 
Nothing much else worthy of note apart from a pod of dolphins we stopped this morning along with a marlin Bruce spotted about 3/4 of an hour ago.
