So we are back in OIM – we left at 8h  Brbinj, the night was fine as predicted only a little swell from the east. The  weather forecast from all my sources were still the same :

A frontal system shifting towards the Adriatic. Rain  - thunderstorms and wind gusting up in areas even up to 80 ktn – in the famous Velebit Canal north from us. It’s like a fjord and known for the winds down the Velebit mountains.

In our area we should for today and tomorrow  besides the rain , wind up in the 30 ktn range. So our decision was easy, we will go back to Sutomišćica to be safe and not only be boat locked for two days .

As you can see from the pictures, the Skipper is skeptical with the weather – that’s life .

So will be cozy in our boat – enjoying movies , books and good food& wine !
