we left Cascais at 5am and arrived in Bayonna at 11am the next day.light winds from the north and we were travelling due north!

it is ever thus! 220 n miles of motoring . Lots of traffic fishing boats galore (none of whom know where they are going) Cargo ships who are always on collision course and pleasure boats both sail and motor going both North and South.oh I forgot to mention thick fog most of the way.

Tomorrow we will battle on 70 n miles to Camarinas as we are expecting Friday and Saturday to be good days to cross the Bay of Biscay. There is a low crossing the Bay and we hope to get good westerly winds pushing us across to Trinity sur Mer.
