Lagos to Trinity Sur Mer

Wednesday 18th August
We left Lagos midday Sunday and entered Cascais
Marina on Monday morning position 38:42N 09:25W. Spent the day in the old town
of Sintra with a bus ride and walk to the castle. Back in Cascais for dinner and
a good sleep before setting off for Trinity Sur Mer. Our position at 0700 hrs is
41:54N 09:23W. The weather looks favourable for the next three days so we will
make hay while the sun shines!
It isn't often that you will get ten knots of
following wind in the bay of Biscay! We will call in at La Rochelle for Stephen
and Annie to fly back to Scotland and also for Stephen to visit the Amel yard as
he is looking seriously for a boat to sail in the next Blue Water
Rally.
