we arrived in San Miguel Tenerife on Wednesday and will stay here until
our departure to Cape Verde on the 30th of October.
We expect Dave ex owner and skipper of Jenard of Mersey to arrive on board
Festina on Tuesday. In the meantime we said goodbye to Dean who has gone
by ferry to Las Palmas hoping to find work on a superyacht We enjoyed our
time in La Gomera with visits from Ray and Elaine Pye,John and Anne
Cardwell,and Mike and Jenny Lord.They all stayed in the Parador hotel
where they have an excellent pool and bar.Since arriving in Tenerife we
have been touring the Island.A memorable day up Mount Tiede
