with good marina staff and tradesmen. It is also much cheaper than
Istanbul.It is one hour by ferry to both Yenikapi on the European side of
Istanbul and Pendik on the Asian side.On two days we went to The European
side travelling by Ferry,tram and tour bus visiting Mosques, Palaces and
Bazaars.On two days we travelled by Dolmus (Minibus) to Termal and
Iznik.The countryside is agricultural with more tractors than cars.
This evening Ania arrives andtomorrow she goes to the shipyard to see the
launch of the sailing boat she has been working on for the last year.In
the evening we sail across to Atakoy Marina and hope to meet Dave who is
arriving from Ataturk airport. On Friday we will meet our Agent to clear
out of Turkey and get our Transit log to travel to the Ukraine.
