We are rocking and rolling in 25 knot winds with 260 n miles to go to St Johns. The last three days averaging 190 n miles a day and hopefully make it into harbour before dark on Monday.Yesterday we sailed past several big icebergs so are keeping a sharp lookout and also steering a course to stay well off the coast and approach St Johns from the east. We seem to have the Labrador sea to ourselves, only seeing one ship in six hundred miles -we must be the only people crazy enough to be out here! The heater has broken down needing a new fuel pump but thankfully it is getting warmer -only down to four layers now and if we ever find it necessery to jump in the water the temperature has gone up from 4 degrees to 14 !. Roll on Monday.
