Arrival in Cape Verde Islands

We arrived in Mindelo Cape Verde Islands at
1400hrs on Tuesday 04 November 2008 position 16:52.93N 24:59.39W. We sailed a
distance of 850nm in 120 hrs.and for the most part we had good weather
with ENE winds from 15 to 25 knots At times it was rough with a rolling
sea but we made good time and have six day in Mindelo until Mike
arrives from Denmark.and we can get on our way to Brasil. We were last in
Mindelo in 2005 and there seem to have been many changes including a 150 berth
marina.a big improvement on the
anchorage.
