Things are lookig up! yesterday we battled through
heavy rain and strong headwinds making 69nm in 15 hrs but today our prayers were
answered .It stopped raining,the sun came out the temperature allowed us to take
two layers of clothing off and although the wind was still 30 knots we had an
angle to sail.There was still 2.5 knots of current against but who cares.we were
sailing again covering 88nm in15hrs and we are now only 60nm from Puerto Eden
where we can buy diesel and stock up with food and drink.
