In Cania Crete
well we did set sail from Vathi on Thursday and had
a cracking sail across to Fiscardo on Cephalonia. This is one of my favourite
places. All the charter boats were storm bound but we managed to anchor stern
too on a restaurant near the beach.
Susie had to fly back to the UK on Saturday so we
decided to sail to Argostoli on the other side of Cephalonia and spend the night
there.
We left Susie on the quay at six in the morning of
Saturday the 19th and set sail for Pilos at the bottom of the Pelopanese
arriving there at 7pm having sailed 103 n miles in 14hrs.Next stop Kythira 85 n
miles on and finally arrived in Cania Crete on Monday afternoon.The sail to
Cania was an exciting beam reach in 30 knot winds .
Now we have a rest staying here for a week. Hans
and Yvonne fly home to Brazil and Dave and Lorel join me on the
26th. |
