Can't quite believe it's been 5 1/2 months since we left St. Lucia on the first part of our round the world adventure. We have now come full circle and are now back in St. Lucia anchored off of Rodney Bay. In that time we have travelled 886 miles, Have visited 36 different anchorages in 21 Islands.

We had a very enjoyable 2 weeks in Martinique visiting most of the west coast anchorages. We also hired a car for 2 days and did virtually the whole Island. Visited 2 rum distilleries, 1 of which was powered by a 100 year old steam engine. Still find the taste of their agricole rum takes some getting used to but the decent stuff is fabulous, just like a fine brandy.

Martinique is also the best Island for shopping. Superb selection of food and also a decathlon sports store !.

Here for about a week and we plan on having a night in a marina, our first since we left here back in December. Then we are off to The Grenadines, Carriacou in July for the regatta and then Grenada and finally Trinidad for the worst months of the hurricane season, mid August to October.

More soon.
