Now in Deshaies Guadeloupe after a nice reach down from Antigua. Saw a pilot way close to Starboard. Staying here for about 4 days and intend on hiring a car to visit the island. Generally chilling out and enjoying a new place. Clearing customs took 10 minutes and cost 4 euros. Clearing out of Antigua cost  25$ and took 45 minutes, having to go to 4 different people who, in typically Antiguan way, were slow, rude, pedantic and taciturn. And they wonder why visiting yacht numbers are so much down !!!

Off to the botanical gardens this afternoon then a visit to Carrefour tomorrow to stock the boat up with some decent goods. Chris is actually excited about visiting a superstore !!
