So we made it across Biscay!!!! Yay!!!

There is nothing too interesting or funny to say about the crossing..... it was 51 hours non-stop including 2 nights. A continous cycle of 3 hours on watch and then three hours sleep/eat/relax.

The bay has a fierce reputation, but for this crossing it was calmer than a calm thing. We had to motor for 49 hours and managed to sail for two!

So now we are on the Ile D'Yeu in the marina at Port Joinville. We are here it seems with most of the French population. It is jammed!

We are part of a raft of boats which is six boats deep. Joinvile is lovely though and we have now fully recharged our batteries and are off north tomorrow. We don't know where yet as it depends on how long it takes to untangle ourselves from the other boats.

So watch this space....
