I prefer to call it the ginger biscuit circuit.....extrememly comforting on night shifts, but will the calorie intake be countered by the nervous energy output?? I think so :-) First night sail actually ended, on a willing buoy I grabbed (there's life in the old girl yet). Next 5 won't end at all....until La Coruna or is it A Coruna? How confusing is this for us foreigners? Still, we've voted IN: so they'll be nice to us.
The excuse for stopping at delightful Dittisham was testing out the dingy. After much coughing and spluttering from engine and me, it made it ashore to the Ferry Boat Inn. For a brief period I did try to row against a strong tide. I'm told on good authority that I looked more like a malfunctioning wind turbine than an oarsperson.
A good night's sleep was had by all.
