Following my rather patronising entry of yesterday regarding triangles and why we will be sailing two sides of one, many of you will already have guessed that we would completely ignore all that sound advice and are now sailing a diagonal straight to A Coruna.
The wind was coming from exactly the wrong direction with exatly the wrong strength with exactly th wrong, nasty, choppy seas to make any progress directly westwards at all. So on the basis that the weather was looking fairly promising we made the decision to ignore our own advice and take a chance....
So far so good; the sailing is now fast but very lumpy. 1st mate Youle is sufering with sea sickness, but is doing her bestwhen not asleep :) I have to confess to feeling a tad queezy meself. Still nothing a nice curry wont cure!
