13:20.452 S 176:13.524 W Well it might be tomorrow. We will wait until our arrival in Wallis to worry about the date and time because I think there is another hour at stake. We lost a second lure to a greedy fish. The wind continues and the sea is up a bit, it doesn’t bode well for sleeping, but it’s only one night. I took several shots of the sunset. It was getting going nicely when is disappeared into a heavy bank on the horizon. The Dorado wasn’t really enough for two meals. We devoured it. Delicious. Demetra made it irresistible. Still making reasonable speed. 36 miles to go. Wind’s gone a bit more Easterly pushing us a few degrees South of track. Will probably pole out for the last section. Much to my surprise I actually slept not too badly. Poled out now. Our 24 hour run was 189 miles. Not bad considering we haven’t got a proper mail sail. A little over 20 miles to go. The sun rose out of a band of horizon cloud. It’s amazing how often dawn and dusk are accompanied by horizon clouds all around and clear skies above. We arrived in the pass at
