25/6/08  18:00

We’ve been sailing gently all day.  Sunset was relatively muted, although we missed the last bit as a Yellow Fin Tuna took our line. He’s probably between 4 and 5 kilos. Really fresh tuna for dinner and the rest in the freezer.

26/6/08  03:00

Still sailing tranquilly. Wind has gone SE and sometimes ESE which is pushing us a bit West.  If it stays, well have to drag out the Spinnaker again tomorrow. Very dark night with a lot of cloud cover.

09:00

The cloud certainly stayed.  A little after 05:00 the wind dropped and went dead behind so Demetri started motoring.  Steve and I have poled out the Yankee and we’re making 51/2 knots on course; wing on wing with the baby mainsail.

12:00

Still cloudy, still wing on wing.  Our 24 hour run was 153 including 3 ½ hours of motoring.  Hao is another 140 miles or so we will arrive tomorrow morning.
