Arrived in a very crowded anchorage for a pleasant
overnight stay at The Bight. Counted over 100 yachts and motorboats, mostly
charter. We didn't go ashore but had a meal onboard and listened to the sounds
of the steel band wafting over the anchorage from the Pirate's Bight Bar &
Grill. Almost frightened to death when the Happy Hour canon was fired late
afternoon from the restaurant - so we had a rum & coke ourselves for our own
happy hour onboard!
Early to bed as we were having a masochistic day
heading up to Virgin Gorda which for 365 days a year is likely to be against the
wind!! Hopefully the sea and wind would go down overnight ready for an early
departure.
